After the big battering on its Voices service last year, Yahoo has been on the road to salvation. In an endeavor to help those who move violently sending large files via email, the service announced on Tuesday that it would be teaming up with Dropbox to let users share and store files much more simply.
This addition allows Yahoo Mail users to bypass the original 25MB file size limit, and simply send large files such as photos and videos. Of course, users can also send characteristic files such as documents, etc.
As another plus, the collective service lets users access their Dropbox files beginning Yahoo Mail, or files uploaded via Yahoo Mail from Dropbox.
Dropbox integration is now available during the browser edition of Yahoo Mail in English, French, Spanish, German and Italian. Users who do not already have a Dropbox description can now generate one during Yahoo Mail.
By all appearances, Dropbox will operate flawlessly while within Yahoo Mail, making for an incorporation very alike to the Gmail/Google Drive one offered by Google. For more information on generate a Dropbox account through Yahoo, visit the Yahoo Mail Blog.
